movie realism

So I started watching The Green Berets with John Wayne and I just could suspended my disbelief. You know why?

A bunch of damn pine trees in the middle of Vietnam, I just don't think so.

I have devined a secert from the universe

or rather several, barbers are not mind readers forget this at your own peril.

And my golden nugget of knowledge (I like that alliteration) is God gave man golf to teach him patience. I played nine today, and even with having three snowmans and three sevens, still managed to enjoy myself. You have to take positives away from everything you do or golf (much like life) becomes a string of unenjoyable disappointments or "oh I could have done that better". Well guess what saying that doesn't get the ball out of the rough so get up there clear your mind of the past and take another swing.

So Yeah....

.... That once a week thing didn't really happen. I don't know why, I have the time God knows. I guess I really don't know what I want this blog to be about.

I don't shoot enough for it be a gun blog, I don't do anything enough to blog on just that. I guess I'll just write and see where it takes me.

Snow Days

As a senior who doesn't have to make up snow days, I am in general in favor of having school called off. However it does get a little insane when the area recieves some ice and NOTHING else. I can see the street in front 0f my house and there is nothing on it now.

But what can I say, I still got a day off and don't have to make it.

On an unrelated note I will try and post on a weekly basis from now on as a New Year's resolution.

Marching band

Well the band made it through another season. This one was the best of my four years of high school, we made finals and placed at all the competitions except for the last one, but that is okay with me as I saw the show we threw down and it was amazing, but there were other bands that were better, so it is fine with me that we didn't. The way the season ended was a fairy tale but I was left feeling melacholy at the end. Its letting go of something that had given me some of the best friends I ever had. Letting go of that is not easy
